Lithuania will move its clocks back one hour overnight from Saturday to Sunday, switching from summer time to winter time, LRT reported.
Winter time will remain in effect until the end of March. Compared with summer time, daylight will begin earlier in the morning and end earlier in the evening.
The twice-yearly clock change is intended to make better use of daylight. Critics say changing the clocks can harm health.
Lithuania changes its clocks twice a year under an EU directive. The European Commission and European Parliament support ending the practice, but most EU member states have not agreed to the change.
