Search launched for 19-year-old woman feared fallen into Neris

Police and rescuers are searching for a 19-year-old woman who may have fallen into the Neris River near Žirmūnų Bridge in Vilnius, LRT reported, citing the news portal Delfi.

Police said a woman reported at about 8:28 p.m. on Monday that her 19-year-old daughter might need help. Initial information indicated that the girl may have fallen into the river.

The Situation Coordination Division of the Fire and Rescue Department told Delfi that the person was being searched for in the river.
