Rapper and singer Säm released his third full-length album, “Paar pilve taevas,” on Friday, ERR reports. The album contains 15 tracks and runs for 46 minutes, with guest appearances by Alika, Karl Killing, Emily J, Liisi Koikson and Ramon.

Säm said he had developed as a songwriter and refined each track in detail. It is his first album made entirely in a studio, without using beats found online. He said his music was moving naturally towards pop and that the process had shown him how much he enjoys writing songs, including for other artists.

Music videos have been made for all 15 tracks, directed by the Esko brothers. Säm said the project was a major undertaking, with the concept developed over three months. He wanted the videos to convey the album’s content and mood more fully than a visualizer or lyric video.

Säm’s manager, Markus Reinboom, said the album cost nearly a six-figure sum, with about a third spent on the videos. He said income from YouTube views and Spotify streams would cover only a minimal amount of the cost.

Producer Steven Ilves worked on every track except “Tormituul,” which was produced by Tops. Vallo Kikas mastered the album. “Sõidame” features Ingmar Nõmmann on trumpet and Marko Lillemägi on saxophone.
