A new exhibition in the Telliskivi Creative City gallery explores how small, everyday actions can contribute to wider social change. ERR reported that the show, titled “Small feminism,” was opened by Feministeerium.

Curator Margaret Tilk told the Aktuaalne kaamera news programme that the exhibition focuses on everyday feminism: “The conscious choices we make every day for more equal opportunities and a more equal future, because we cannot pass a consent law every day.”

The works were selected mainly from entries submitted to Feministeerium’s 2025 comics competition, with some pieces from its 2023 and 2021 competitions also included. Tilk said comics combine words and images in a form she considers more accessible and inclusive than some other formats.

The exhibition looks at both humorous moments when actions may have little real impact and the everyday nature of struggles in personal and family life, Tilk said.

The artists featured are Andres Tenusaar, Daniela De Osti, Daria Titova, Donna Harali, Epp Tamm, Kadi Rebane, Katarina Skott, Leore Lisann Klõšeiko, Marita Liivak, Pamela Samel, Puruvana, Saara Lotta Linno and Sigrid Anton. The exhibition is open until January 30.
