Sadu releases second album, Teine Vaatus

Estonian band Sadu released its second album, “Teine Vaatus,” on Thursday, October 29, ERR reported. The 11-track album blends folk, pop and world music and is a continuation of the group’s debut.

Songwriter, guitarist and producer Frederik Küüts said the new record presents a more assured version of the band. He said he explored some themes in greater depth and addressed others for the first time. Küüts also noted that drummer Robert Leht played all the album’s drum parts live.

Sadu’s debut album, “Probleemid Paradiisis,” came out in September 2025 and won three prizes at the 2026 Estonian Music Awards. The band plans to present the new album at a large concert in Tallinn in early January.

Vocalist Sandra Sillamaa said the band had performed nearly 100 concerts since giving its first show a year earlier, adding that its creative momentum had not slowed.
