Rakvere Theatre names audience award winners

Rakvere Theatre has named the winners of its audience awards for the 86th season, with Taago Tubin’s “The Elephant Man” chosen as best production, ERR reported.

Audiences selected Ülle Lichtfeldt as best actress for the 13th time, recognising her roles in “Autumn Sonata,” “Kiwi Day” and “Blind Frame.” Johannes Richard Sepping won best actor for the first time for his roles in “The Elephant Man,” “The Best Holiday for Little People” and “Endless Summer.”

“The Elephant Man,” a story based on real events starring Sepping, will be performed this half-season at the theatre’s home venue and in Tallinn and Tartu.

A total of 770 people took part in the audience poll, voting online or using paper forms.
