Riga marks Father’s Day with family activities

Riga marked Father’s Day with concerts, masterclasses, creative workshops and a traditional walk, LSM reported. Families gathered across the city to spend the day together and highlight the role of fathers in family life and children’s lives.

Activities for adults and children took place in various locations throughout the day. Families were invited to join sports and educational events, alongside concerts, workshops and masterclasses.

The Father’s Day walk held a special place in the programme, with families taking part together. Participants said the most valuable gift for fathers is often not an object but time spent together. The day also served as a reminder of the importance of family and the need to make time for one another in everyday life.
