Margus Saar joins Terevisioon as fourth host

Margus Saar will join ETV’s morning programme Terevisioon as its fourth host, ERR reported as the show began its new season on Monday.
Saar has around a decade of experience hosting morning programmes on radio, but will appear as a live television morning presenter for the first time. He will host Terevisioon for the first time on the morning of September 1.
“Working on a morning programme and an evening news programme is not very different. In the morning, viewers expect an introduction to the day, while in the evening they want a comprehensive summary of what has happened,” Saar said.
He added that Terevisioon would allow him to cover topics from culture and education to the economy and politics in a freer format and from more diverse perspectives.
Alongside the morning programme, Saar will continue as a presenter-editor on the evening news programme Aktuaalne kaamera and as a producer of special projects.
Katrin Viirpalu, Martha-Beryl Grauberg and Juhan Kilumets will continue as Terevisioon hosts this season. Viirpalu is the programme’s editor in charge.
The morning’s first television news bulletins will be presented by Liisbeth Rats, Anett Peel and Anne Mari Saks. Terevisioon airs on ETV from Monday to Friday at 6:45 a.m.
