Several cars, truck crash closes Ventspils Highway

Several passenger cars and a heavy truck were involved in a serious crash on the Ventspils Highway near the turn-off to Straupciems, LSM reported.

Emergency responders have arrived at the scene, and traffic on the section has been fully closed. The truck overturned onto its side, blocking both lanes.

People were injured in the crash. State Police urged drivers to choose alternative routes.
