Lithuania’s Special Investigation Service (STT) has introduced an online form for reporting corruption-related offences, the agency announced on Sunday.

The new tool, available on the STT website, guides users on what information is required to file a report. While the form is now the primary method, individuals may still submit reports in person at STT offices, by post, or by phone. However, as of 1 September this year, submissions via the email address [email protected] will no longer be accepted.

In 2025, the STT initiated 41 pre-trial investigations based on received reports. Fifteen individuals who provided useful information were rewarded a total of €10,135.

The agency stated that reports covered a range of issues, including legal regulatory gaps, poor governance, flawed work processes, lack of oversight, misuse of state or municipal funds, conflicts of interest, public procurement irregularities, biased personnel selection, nepotism, and cronyism.
