ETV’s men’s health series “Men, Let’s Start Living!” returns for a fifth season on Saturday, with more personal conversations, ERR reports. Host Kaidor Kahar says the show will take more time for honest discussions about men’s lives and health.
Six well-known men will discuss their health habits: actor Reimo Sagor, television and film director Ergo Kuld, presenter and drummer Andres Oja, politician Hanno Pevkur, musician René Puura and sports commentator Kalev Kruus. Topics include overwork, alcohol use, physical and mental health, and coping with difficult times.
The opening episode features Kuld discussing how his divorce affected him and how a friend supported him through that period. The conversation also covers mental health and therapy, which Kuld recommends to everyone.
In each episode, Kahar will visit a place in Estonia that is special to one of the guests. The men will exercise, seek support for their mental wellbeing and discuss habits they would like to change. The season’s journeys will range from Ida-Virumaa to Saaremaa. Studio meetings will also test the guests’ knowledge, while experts will discuss topics including radicalisation, suicide and fatherhood.
The series, directed by Siim-Martin Kaasik, edited by Teet Teder and produced by Egle Beek, begins on ETV on November 7 and airs on Saturdays at 8pm. Its first four seasons are available to watch again on Jupiter.
