Firefighter offered police a bribe in Rietavas municipality

A firefighter-rescuer offered police officers a bribe during procedural actions in Rietavas municipality on Sunday, LRT reported, citing Klaipėda County Police.

The man, born in 1980, allegedly offered the bribe to avoid criminal liability for unlawfully collecting information about a person’s private life. A pre-trial investigation has been opened.
