Man dies after falling from third floor in central Vilnius

A man born in 1990 died after falling from the third floor of a building on Gediminas Avenue in central Vilnius on Saturday, LRT reported, citing police.

Emergency services were working at the scene, where the man’s body was found. Police said preliminary information indicated that the man had fallen from the third floor and that the incident was not a criminal matter.

News website 15min reported that a person was found dead on the pavement at about 1:35 p.m. near the intersection of Gediminas Avenue and Vasario 16-osios Street, close to Lukiškės Square. Witnesses told the outlet they had heard a “terrible sound.”
