Estonia’s State Chancellery is seeking a partner to build and manage an online platform connecting people with artificial intelligence training, ERR reports. The project has a budget of 10 million euros and aims to help at least 100,000 people take part in workshops and other learning activities.

The platform, minu.eesti.ai, is expected to bring together learners, trainers and other members of the AI community, while allowing users to track their skills development. The partner will also create 1,000 practical short lessons and provide dashboards to monitor the programme’s results.

The lessons will offer brief, practical guidance on specific AI skills and may take the form of videos, written descriptions or checklists. The platform must be available around the clock, support up to 400,000 simultaneous visitors to its home page and serve up to 3,000 logged-in users at once. It must also include authentication and a payment system for training courses.

The selected partner will arrange workshops, promote them through social media, direct mail and professional networks, and build a network of at least 50 qualified trainers.

The State Chancellery expects the three-year partnership to begin at the end of this year. The government launched the Eesti.ai initiative in January to promote economic growth through AI. In June, the initiative received 11 million euros in additional budget funding, including 5.2 million euros for the State Chancellery to carry out the AI skills programme.
