Radio show questions leaders of two Latvian election lists
Latvia Latvian Radio’s Krustpunktā programme is questioning leaders of political lists ahead of the 15th Saeima elections, LSM reported.
Tuesday’s first segment features Juris Viļums, the top candidate for the United List in the Latgale electoral district. The second segment features Ainārs Šlesers, leader of Latvia First and the top candidate in the Riga electoral district.

The 15th Saeima elections will be held on Saturday, October 3. Polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and voters may cast their ballots at any polling station. Fourteen candidate lists have been registered for the elections.
Votes can be deposited in advance at all polling stations from September 28 until election day. The newly elected 15th Saeima will hold its first sitting on November 3, when the current 14th Saeima’s term will end.
