Forecasters predict brief showers across Lithuania this week

Brief showers are expected in Lithuania this week, although rain will fall only in some places, LRT reported, citing Janas Vaitkevič, a forecaster at the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service.

Monday will be variably cloudy, with brief rain in many areas. Temperatures will reach 16 to 21 degrees Celsius.

Some areas will see brief rain on Tuesday. Fog will form in many places overnight and in the morning. Temperatures will range from 9 to 14 degrees overnight and from 17 to 21 degrees during the day.

Wednesday is expected to be mostly dry. Winds will strengthen to 4 to 9 metres per second overnight and 7 to 12 metres per second during the day. Temperatures will reach 18 to 22 degrees.

Brief showers are forecast in many areas on Thursday, while winds will strengthen to 8 to 13 metres per second. Daytime temperatures will remain below 20 degrees.
