LTV examines what Green and Farmers Union voters think

Latvian public broadcaster LSM has published a video exploring the views of voters of the Union of Greens and Farmers ahead of the 15th Saeima elections.

The Latvian Television News Service invited voters of different political parties to discuss their choices. They were asked which party they voted for four years ago and why, whether they still considered that choice right, and whether the party had fulfilled its promises or disappointed them.

The project also included voters who had not yet decided whom to support and those who said they would not vote. The discussions examined whether attractive posters and campaign promises can influence voters shortly before an election, or whether voters assess the work of parties and their leaders over a longer period.

The Union of Greens and Farmers will appear on LTV’s “Party in Focus” programme on Friday, September 11, at 9 p.m. The programme will be broadcast live on LTV1, LSM.lv and REplay.lv.
