Morcheeba to bring Baltic tour to Tallinn

British band Morcheeba will perform in Tallinn next April as part of a Baltic tour, ERR reported. The group is scheduled to appear at Alexela Concert Hall on April 20, 2027.

Morcheeba, which began its career in 1995, has released 11 studio albums over more than 30 years. Its latest album, Escape the Chaos, was released in 2025 and will feature prominently on the upcoming tour.

The band combines trip-hop, downtempo and electronic music and has sold more than 10 million albums during its career.

Morcheeba currently performs as a duo comprising founding member Ross Godfrey and vocalist Skye Edwards, who rejoined the band in 2012.

The group worked on Escape the Chaos for two years, returning to its roots by combining electronic sounds with live instruments and blending trip-hop with soul, blues and psychedelia.

“The whole album is an attempt to reconnect with what really matters: what is in your heart, the world around you, and the possibility of simply putting your feet on the grass and feeling the earth beneath you,” Godfrey said in describing the album’s concept.

Morcheeba last performed in Estonia in 2025, when it gave a free concert at Freedom Square in Tallinn.
