Police search for missing 86-year-old man in Varėna district

Police are searching for 86-year-old Simas Bakanauskas, who went missing in Varėna district, LRT reported.

Bakanauskas left home in a black Honda CR-V on August 19 and has not returned. Police believe he may have become lost in forests near the villages of Glūkas, Smalninkai and Giraitė, as well as surrounding areas.

Anyone with information about Bakanauskas’s whereabouts or who has seen his Honda CR-V, registration number MYV 803, is asked to contact police immediately.
