Man dies after drowning in Baltic Sea near Nida

A man died after drowning in the Baltic Sea near Nida on Sunday afternoon, LRT reported, citing the Klaipėda County Chief Police Commissariat.

Police received a report of the incident at about 1:48 p.m., spokesperson Asta Kažukauskienė said.

The man was pulled from the sea and resuscitated, but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, she said.
