Vilnius prepares for storm with warnings of possible traffic disruptions
Vilnius residents have been warned about potential traffic disruptions and other hazards as the capital prepares for severe weather, LRT reports.
Municipal company Grinda announced on Facebook that strong winds on Monday afternoon could break tree branches, cause temporary flooding in low-lying areas, and disrupt traffic. Rain is expected, with wind gusts reaching up to 21 meters per second.
Residents who encounter emergencies are urged to report them via the short number 1355.
