Journalist Gedas Salyga to serve as Prime Minister Sinkevičius’ press representative

Journalist Gedas Salyga will serve as the press representative for Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius, reports BNS.

Salyga confirmed to BNS on Friday that he had accepted the offer to join the prime minister’s advisory team. Formal procedures are underway, with an official announcement expected early next week.

Salyga has most recently worked with the LNK news team and previously at Lietuvos Rytas Television.

The new government led by Sinkevičius is set to take office next week after the Seimas approves its programme.
