Lithuania warns of fake mobilization notices sent via training platform

The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence has warned the public about fraudulent mobilization notices being sent under the name of the official training platform mobilizacijosmokykla.lt.

According to a statement from the Mobilization and Civil Resistance Department, residents have received deceptive messages instructing them to report to regional conscription and assembly offices to fulfill mobilization duties. The same false notification was also posted in user accounts on the training platform.

The ministry described the messages as an information attack and disinformation, urging the public not to click on any links. The department has reported the incident to the National Cyber Security Centre and the service provider, both of which are investigating the circumstances.

While the investigation is ongoing, the website mobilizacijosmokykla.lt remains inaccessible.
