Rain and cool temperatures expected in coming days, no significant warmth in sight
Lithuania will see persistent rain in the coming days with little hope of warmer weather, according to a forecast by the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service reported by LRT.
On Tuesday, brief showers are expected across many regions, with possible thunderstorms. Winds will be southwesterly to southerly at 8–13 m/s, and temperatures will range between 16–21°C.
Wednesday will bring widespread, continuous rain—heavy in places—with a chance of thunderstorms. Winds will strengthen, particularly along the coast, reaching 15–20 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will drop to 9–14°C, while daytime highs will be 15–20°C.
On Thursday, intermittent rain will persist, with heavy downpours and possible thunderstorms in some areas. Winds will shift to northwesterly and westerly at 9–14 m/s, gusting up to 15–20 m/s in western regions. Temperatures will range from 10–15°C at night to 14–19°C during the day.
Friday will see similar conditions, with rain continuing. A slight improvement is expected on Saturday, with only brief showers and temperatures rising to 19–24°C.
