Lithuania to stay mostly dry as temperatures reach 10 degrees

Tuesday will be cool and mostly dry across Lithuania, with temperatures reaching 6 to 10 degrees Celsius, LRT reports. Forecaster Janas Vaitkevičius of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service said a few raindrops were possible in the west.

Cloud cover will remain extensive, with clearer spells especially in the north. Wednesday is expected to bring similar conditions, with no significant rain and moderate winds. Overnight temperatures will fall to as low as 1 degree below zero in some places, while others will stay warmer, reaching 4 degrees; the coast could see up to 7 degrees. Daytime temperatures will be around 5 to 10 degrees.

Little change is expected through Saturday. Thursday may bring somewhat more rain, with brief showers in some places, but conditions will otherwise remain similar. Winds will be light. Overnight temperatures are forecast at around 1 to 6 degrees and 2 to 7 degrees, with up to 10 degrees on the coast. Daytime temperatures will range from 6 to 11 degrees or 7 to 12 degrees.
