Estonia to see temperatures near 10 degrees in coming days

Temperatures in Estonia will reach 10 degrees Celsius in the coming days, with rain expected on Tuesday and showers in places on Wednesday, ERR reports. Sleet may briefly mix with rain in northeastern Estonia on Tuesday afternoon.

Rain is expected in many parts of the country overnight into Tuesday, with fog possible in some areas. Temperatures will range from 0 to 6 degrees inland and reach 9 degrees on the coast. Winds will shift from southwest to west and north, reaching 3 to 9 metres per second and gusting to 14 metres per second along the coast.

Rain may linger in southeastern Estonia on Tuesday morning before moving away by late morning. In the afternoon, a new band of rain will move south from northern Estonia. Temperatures will reach 5 to 10 degrees. Winds will blow from the west and northwest, turning northerly in the evening, at 4 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 12 metres per second and up to 18 metres per second on the coast.

Wednesday night will be dry, but showers are expected in many places during the day. Overnight temperatures will range from minus 3 to 7 degrees, rising to 4 to 11 degrees during the day. Rain will clear on Thursday night, with isolated showers possible in eastern Estonia during the day. Temperatures will be 4 to 11 degrees overnight and 8 to 11 degrees during the day.

There will be few rain clouds over Estonia on Friday and Saturday, but temperatures will be cooler.
