A former employee of Vilnius ski centre Liepkalnis told a court she feared Kamisha Latoya Menns would kill her during a confrontation there. The Vilnius City District Court continued hearing the case on Friday, LRT reported.
The witness said Menns shouted, filmed staff and pushed the ticket-office window during the incident in February 2025. She recalled Menns using the phrase “royal bitch”. The former employee, who said she had worked at the centre for more than six years, testified that she had never experienced a similar confrontation.
Menns had questioned why she was charged more than expected for tickets to ski with her daughter. The witness said she tried to explain that a discount had not been applied to the ticket for the daughter, who was under 18. She said Menns then began shouting and arguing, pushed the ticket-office window and reached through it.
“I felt she wanted to kill me when I was alone with K. L. Menns and she put her hand through the ticket-office window,” the witness said. She added that she was shaking and hoped the incident would end quickly.
Menns is charged with disturbing public order and inciting hatred against a group on grounds of sex, race and skin colour. Prosecutor Edvinas Navickas has said she behaved aggressively, shouted at employees and tried to force her way into staff rooms after a dispute over a ticket refund. The allegations also include filming and photographing staff and making insulting remarks about them.
The prosecution has also said Menns posted videos, images and text from the incident on Instagram that allegedly mocked and vilified people and incited hatred against a group on grounds of skin colour, sex and race. Menns denied the charges during the pre-trial investigation. One person has been recognised as a victim in the case. The court plans to hear testimony from other Liepkalnis employees.
