Draamateater halts group bookings for popular productions
Estonia’s Draamateater has stopped taking group bookings for eight popular productions and capped individual purchases at two tickets per buyer because of exceptionally high demand, ERR reported.
The theatre said group-booking queues for the productions stretch four to six years, with thousands of people waiting. It generally suspends group bookings when it expects orders will take more than two seasons to fulfil. Marketing manager Katre Väli said she could not say when bookings would reopen.
The suspension applies to “500 aastat sõprust”, “B-koondis”, “Eneseabiõpik”, “Lehman Brothers”, “Rahamaa”, “Tõde ja õigus”, “Võõrad” and “Ükskord Liibanonis”. Group orders start at 20 tickets and can include up to 50.
From November, buyers will be able to purchase a maximum of two tickets in individual sales, down from eight previously.
