Professor Vytautas Landsbergis has been admitted to the intensive care unit at Santaros Clinics and is undergoing tests, LRT reported, citing confirmation from his son to LRT Television.
Landsbergis, the first leader of independent Lithuania, turned 94 on October 18.
He needed medical care in April after experiencing vision problems and undergoing two operations. Last year, he was also hospitalised. Santaros Clinics said at the time that he had sought treatment for a complicated pain syndrome that was affecting his mobility.
