Rain clouds retreat as Estonia sees mild Saturday

Rain will ease across Estonia on Saturday, with temperatures reaching 13C, ERR reports. Showers are expected in places overnight and in the morning, but the afternoon will be mostly dry.

Saturday night will bring partly cloudy skies and rain in many areas. Southerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second, with gusts of up to 13 metres per second on the coast. Temperatures will range from 6C to 11C.

Cloud and sunny spells are forecast on Saturday morning, with a chance of fog in places. Southerly winds will reach 2 to 8 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 11 metres per second. Temperatures will again be 6C to 11C.

During the day, skies will clear at times before becoming more variable in the afternoon, when rain is unlikely. Southeast and southerly winds will reach 3 to 9 metres per second. Gusts on the west Estonian coast will reach up to 14 metres per second, increasing to 16 metres per second in the afternoon. Temperatures will be 9C to 13C.

Sunday will bring isolated showers until evening, while winds gradually strengthen. Rain and stormy winds are expected on the islands in the evening. Temperatures will range from 4C to 11C overnight and 11C to 13C during the day.

Rain will spread east across the country overnight into Monday, then become less frequent from the west during the day. Strong winds are expected across the country. Temperatures will be 7C to 11C overnight and 9C to 12C during the day. Scattered rain is forecast for Tuesday and rain in many places on Wednesday, with nighttime temperatures of 4C to 11C and daytime highs of 9C to 13C.
