Estonia’s public broadcaster ERR has launched a portal bringing its five radio stations and other audio content together in one place, ERR reported.

At eestiraadio.ee, listeners can tune in live or catch up on Vikerraadio, Raadio 2, Klassikaraadio, Raadio 4 and Raadio Tallinn. The portal replaces the stations’ previous websites, presenting content by topic as well as by programme schedule.

Each station retains its own page, while the homepage offers recommendations from across the channels, including concerts and travel programmes. The portal includes new material and archive episodes from past years, as well as interviews from morning and daytime programmes.

Listeners can also access 12 curated music channels spanning genres from jazz and rap to classical music and nostalgia. The homepage shows which track is playing on each channel. The portal also features radio dramas, serialized stories and content for children.

Users can download content to listen offline and adjust playback speed. ERR’s development department created the portal with the radio editorial teams. It builds on the approach of the Eesti Raadio mobile app, which was launched a couple of years ago. The app is available free through Google Play and the App Store.
