Latvia’s Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) has fined Aizkraukle Municipality council member Inguna Grandāne 120 euros for breaching restrictions on commercial activity, LSM reported.
KNAB made the decision at the end of September. Grandāne’s company, IMIga, received 7,044.55 euros from the municipality for catering services without an open tender.
Friday is the final day for Grandāne to appeal the decision.
