Thursday to bring mild, mostly dry autumn weather

Thursday will be mild and mostly dry across Estonia, with temperatures reaching 9 to 13 degrees, ERR reports. A weather system over the sea will weaken overnight, and its remnants will pass over western Estonia as a band.

The night will be cloudy with some clear spells. A little rain and fog are possible in places, but no significant precipitation is expected. Winds will ease, and temperatures will generally remain above zero, ranging from 2 to 7 degrees. Where skies stay clear for longer, temperatures may fall to around zero; coastal areas could see up to 10 degrees.

Fog may linger in places on Thursday morning. Daytime skies will have some brighter patches, with only isolated light showers possible. Winds will be light inland, with coastal gusts of up to 11 metres per second.

Friday is expected to bring stronger south and southwesterly winds as a low-pressure system moves in. The weekend will be calmer, with only isolated showers forecast. Night-time temperatures will be just above zero, while daytime highs will reach 13 to 15 degrees before falling by a couple of degrees on Sunday.
