Estonia’s national broadcaster ERR is recruiting a correspondent to report from both Lääne-Viru and Ida-Viru counties, ERR reported. Applications are open until October 18.
Newsroom head Joosep Värk said the new correspondent would be expected to cover Rakvere, a city in Lääne-Viru County, and other stories in the western part of the region. ERR already has reporters in Narva covering issues along the eastern border, he said.
The role includes reporting for television and radio news, with the correspondent expected to be ready to go live when needed. Experience as a television or radio reporter would be an advantage. Applicants should speak Estonian and have conversational Russian.
Current Virumaa correspondent Rene Kundla will leave the job on October 31.
