ERR panel to discuss how Estonia can boost births

Estonia’s persistently record-low number of births will be discussed on the ERR programme Impulss on Tuesday evening. Last year, 9,240 children were born in the country, ERR reported.

The guests will include Elin Järvsaar, editor-in-chief of the magazine Pere ja Kodu; Raul Eamets, a member of the board of the Pere Sihtkapital foundation; Sigrid Holmsen, a mother of triplets; European Parliament member Jana Toom; and Madis Ligema, a father of three.

The programme starts at 8 p.m. on ETV. Anna Pihl and Taavi Eilat will host, and Mirjam Mäekivi is the editor.
