Rain returns gradually to Lithuania on Sunday

Light rain will return to parts of Lithuania on Sunday, with morning fog in some areas and changeable cloud cover, LRT reports, citing forecaster Elena Kliukina. Temperatures will be slightly lower than during the sunny week, but the change will be modest.

Some western districts may see brief, light showers. Winds from the west and other western directions will reach 5 to 10 metres per second. Highs will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Monday is expected to bring no significant rain. Southwesterly to westerly winds will reach 7 to 12 metres per second overnight and 9 to 14 metres per second during the day, with gusts of 15 to 17 metres per second on the coast. Overnight temperatures will be 7 to 12 degrees, reaching 14 on the coast; daytime highs will be 13 to 18 degrees.

Brief, mostly light rain is forecast in some places on Tuesday. Southwesterly to westerly winds will reach 9 to 14 metres per second, with gusts of 15 to 18 metres per second in some areas. Temperatures will range from 8 to 13 degrees overnight, up to 15 on the coast, and from 15 to 20 degrees during the day.
