Sunday brings warm, foggy and rainy weather to Estonia

Rain will move across Estonia on Sunday as temperatures reach 14 to 16 degrees, ERR reports. A narrow band of showers will reach the islands and north-western coast before slowly moving south-east into the mainland. South-westerly and westerly winds will be moderate, with coastal gusts of up to 15 metres per second.

Overnight, mainland skies will have sunny spells, while the islands will be clear or partly cloudy. There will be no significant rain, but fog is expected in many places. Winds will blow from the south-west and west at 1 to 7 metres per second, with coastal gusts of up to 11 metres per second. Temperatures will range from 5 to 14 degrees.

Sunday morning will be partly cloudy and mostly dry, though fog will linger in many places. Temperatures will be 6 to 10 degrees, reaching up to 14 on the coast. Showers will move inland during the day, and winds will ease slightly in the evening.

Scattered showers are expected overnight into Monday. A larger area of rain will reach the islands and north-western coast before moving inland in the afternoon. South-westerly winds will strengthen, with gusts of up to 21 metres per second by evening. Temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees overnight and 11 to 15 during the day.

Rain will continue until midday Tuesday, after which the chance of showers will decrease. Winds will remain strong before easing in the evening, and temperatures will be higher than on Monday. Wednesday is forecast to be mostly dry, with moderate winds and temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees overnight and up to 16 during the day. Scattered showers and somewhat stronger winds are expected again on Thursday.
