Lithuania’s warm weekend will give way to rain and stronger winds
Lithuania will have a warm, mostly dry weekend, with temperatures reaching 21C, but rain chances and winds are expected to increase next week, LRT reported.
Saturday is expected to be dry for the most part, with southwesterly to westerly winds of 4–9 metres per second and highs of 16–21C.
Cloud cover will increase on Sunday, with brief, light rain possible in western parts of the country. Fog may form in some places overnight. Temperatures are forecast to range from 5–10C overnight, or 11–14C on the coast, and reach 15–19C during the day.
Brief rain is possible in some places on Monday. Southwesterly winds are forecast at 5–10 metres per second overnight and 8–13 metres per second during the day, with gusts of 15–18 metres per second possible in some western areas. Temperatures are expected to be 7–12C overnight, up to 14C on the coast, and 15–19C during the day.
