Latvians can vote at any polling station in Saturday’s Saeima election

Voters in Latvia can cast ballots at any polling station in the 15th Saeima election on Saturday, October 3, with polling stations open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., LSM reported. The LSM portal and Pieci.lv programme “Kas īsti notiek?” have published an explainer on what voters need to know before heading to the polls.

Voters could also place their ballots in storage at any polling station between September 28 and election day.

Distribution of campaign materials in public spaces is prohibited on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3.

The newly elected parliament will hold its first sitting on November 3, when the 14th Saeima’s term ends.
