Fire breaks out at Klaipėda hair salon; no one injured

A fire broke out at a hair salon in Klaipėda on Wednesday afternoon, but no one was injured, LRT reported.

The fire was reported at about 12:50 at Taikos Avenue 38. Flames were reported on the ceiling, and the fire has since been extinguished.

Two employees and two customers left the salon before firefighters arrived. Residents of the building were not evacuated. The premises filled with smoke and are being ventilated as authorities investigate the cause.

Police officers are at the scene to maintain public order.
