Estonia to see temperatures of up to 18 degrees on Wednesday

Temperatures in Estonia are expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday as clouds and showers ease during the day, ERR reported.

During the coming night, a low-pressure trough will slowly move northeast from Estonia. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with widespread fog and occasional rain or drizzle. Temperatures will range from 7 to 12 degrees, reaching 15 degrees on the coast. Northerly winds will blow at 2 to 7 metres per second, shifting to northeasterly and easterly winds of 4 to 10 metres per second on the northern coast after midnight.

Wednesday morning will bring variable cloud, patchy light rain and fog in many places. Temperatures will be between 9 and 14 degrees, with light, variable winds. Cloud cover and the chance of rain will decrease from the north around midday. Easterly winds will blow at 2 to 7 metres per second, rising to 4 to 10 metres per second on the northern coast and, later in the evening, on the islands.

For the following days, skies will be partly cloudy and the weather mostly dry, although fog is expected overnight. Cloud cover will increase on Sunday, bringing a chance of showers in some places. Temperatures in the second half of the week are forecast to range from 14 to 19 degrees.
