Experts discussed the challenges facing Latvia’s healthcare system and possible solutions for the next parliament on Latvian Radio’s Krustpunktā programme, LSM reported.
The discussion featured Liene Cipule, head of the Emergency Medical Service; Maija Āboliņa, a member of the State Audit Office council; Māris Rēvalds, chairman of the board of Veselības centrs 4; and Rūdolfs Vilde, chair of the Latvian Young Doctors Association.
Latvia’s 15th parliamentary election is scheduled for October 3.
