Latvian TV explores how undecided voters will choose

Latvian Television’s News Service has launched a project bringing voters from different parties together to discuss their political choices ahead of the 15th Saeima elections, LSM reports. Its latest instalment focuses on people who have not yet decided how to vote.

The discussions examine which parties participants supported four years ago, whether they still consider that choice right, and whether those parties kept their promises. Participants are also asked how they plan to vote this year.

The project also hears from people who say they will not vote. It explores whether campaign posters and promises can sway voters shortly before an election, or whether voters judge parties and their leaders over a longer period, making campaigns less influential.
