Six-month Euribor nears 3 percent after latest rise

ERR reported that the six-month Euribor rose by 0.013 percentage points on Monday from Friday’s level, reaching 2.991 percent. It was last higher on October 18, 2024.

Many mortgages and leasing agreements in Estonia are linked to Euribor, meaning the increase affects repayment amounts.

The European Central Bank’s Governing Council decided on September 10 to raise all three key interest rates by 25 basis points, effective from September 16.
