Estonian National Museum marks building anniversary with Öö26

According to ERR, the Estonian National Museum will launch its new season on October 3 with Öö26, an event marking 10 years since its new building opened in Raadi.

The evening will begin with a reception attended by current and former museum directors and other people associated with the museum. Speakers will include Heidy Purga, Tõnis Lukas and Laura Kipper.

The public programme will open with a performance by British artist Monster Chetwynd and Estonian performing artists. After 10 p.m., the band Winny Puhh will take the stage.

Special tours will take place throughout the evening at the museum, led by David Vseviov, Ülar Mark, Tiit Hennoste, Art Leete, Tõnis Lukas, Laura Kipper and others.

All of the museum’s exhibitions will remain open, while the building will be presented in specially arranged lighting and a party mode for Öö26.
