Rain expected across Lithuania as temperatures reach 18°C

LRT reports that short showers are expected in many parts of Lithuania on Monday, with temperatures rising to 13-18°C.

Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service forecaster Janas Voitkevičius told LRT Radio that some areas could also see thunderstorms. Winds will come from the west and northwest at 9-14 metres per second.

Short showers are expected in some areas overnight on Tuesday and in many parts of the country during the day. Fog will form in some places overnight. Winds will be moderate, with temperatures falling to 5-10°C overnight and reaching 11-13°C on the coast. Daytime temperatures will rise to 14-19°C.

Rain is expected mainly in eastern districts overnight on Wednesday and in many areas during the day, although it will mostly be short-lived. Temperatures will fall to 6-11°C overnight, reaching 13°C on the Curonian Spit, and will rise to 12-17°C during the day.
