New Estonian economy minister to appear on ERR show

Estonia’s new economy and industry minister, Liina Vahtras, will appear on ERR’s “Esimeses stuudios” programme on Thursday evening, as references to a possible conflict of interest in the distribution of support have already emerged in Toompea.

The programme will examine whether the turbulent start has come as a surprise, whether it will allow Vahtras to focus on her ministerial duties and what plans she has for the role.

“Esimeses stuudios” airs on ETV at 9:40 p.m. on Thursday. The programme is hosted by Mirko Ojakivi.
