Kersti Prosa exhibition opens in Puppet Theatre Museum windows

Kersti Prosa’s exhibition “Nähtutunne” has opened in the display windows of the Puppet Theatre Museum on Nunne Street, ERR reported. The exhibition examines objects as carriers of time, including things that have been kept, lost and found, as well as the patterns and layers that develop on them over time.

Prosa graduated from the scenography programme at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1998. She has worked as a freelance artist since 1996 and is a member of the Estonian Association of Stage Designers.

From 2017 to 2020, she took part in the “1:10” exhibition series organised by the association. Prosa has created stage designs for theatres across Estonia, including Rakvere Theatre’s “Hotel of Two Worlds”, the Drama Theatre’s “Dinner with Friends” and Tallinn City Theatre’s “Vincent”. She has also designed costumes for the Estonian Youth Theatre production “Romeo and Juliet” and the television series “Tuulepealne maa”.

The Puppet Theatre Museum’s windows have previously featured exhibitions by other artists connected with visual and stage art. These have included Urmas Lüüsi’s “Without Assembly Instructions” in spring 2025, Jüri Mildeberg’s “Panoptikum IV” in autumn 2025 and “Silent Encounters”, which opened in March 2026 and presented author puppets by Estonian Youth Theatre puppet makers Annika Aedma and Evelin Vassar.
