LHV to close customer offices in Tartu and Pärnu

ERR reports that LHV will close its customer offices in Tartu and Pärnu from October 31, 2026, citing changing banking habits and a continued decline in office visits.

LHV Bank made the decision in August after the offices’ lease agreements expired. The bank said its services are increasingly being used through digital channels and that it has increased investment in their development this year.

The change will result in three customer service positions being made redundant. Around 10 other employees work daily at the Pärnu office in addition to customer service. They will continue in their current roles, but the office will close completely.

Tartu will remain an important workplace for LHV, although the bank will reduce the office space it uses there. The reduction also takes into account LHV Group’s new head office, due to be completed in Tallinn in 2028, which will allow more employees and teams to work in one location.

LHV Group’s cumulative net profit for 2026 stood at 63.8 million euros at the end of August, 4.6 million euros below its financial plan and 19 percent lower than a year earlier.

LHV Bank’s cumulative net profit reached 61.3 million euros by the end of August, falling 5.7 million euros short of its financial plan.
