LTV explores what New Unity voters think

Latvian Public Television (LTV), in a project published by LSM, has spoken to voters of the New Unity party about their political choices and views ahead of the 15th Saeima elections.

The voters were asked which party they supported four years ago and why, whether they still consider that choice the right one, and whether New Unity has fulfilled its promises or disappointed them.

They were also asked whom they plan to support this year. The project included people who have not yet decided how to vote, as well as those who do not plan to take part in the election.

LTV also examined whether attractive posters and promises can influence voters shortly before an election, or whether voters assess the work of parties and their leaders over a longer period, making campaign messages less important.

New Unity will take part in LTV’s programme Party in Focus on Monday, September 14, at 8.50 p.m. The programme will be broadcast live on LTV1, LSM.lv and REplay.lv.
